Summary- Little Red Hen

This classic story begins when a small hard working hen finds grain in a field. After numerous attempts to get farm animals to help her, they never do. She asks for help planting the wheat, harvesting the wheat, cutting the wheat, taking the wheat to the mill and she even asked the other animals if they would help make the flour into bread. All of the other animals were too lazy to help so she did it all herself. But, whenever all the hard work had been done and the smell of freshly baked bread was hovering in the air, the other animals wanted to eat it with her. However, the little red hen explained to the animals that since they didn't contribute in helping her make the bread, they could not eat any of it with her.
